This is the verse that springs to my mind as I listen to Trump and European leaders talk about the necessity of bringing about "a durable peace," while they seem to ignore the fact that you can't have peace with a voracious bear who is bent on eating you.
Trump, not long ago, said, "I am peace," which is blasphemous. He's a tyrant. If peace in Ukraine comes about, it will be in spite of him, not because of him.
Zelensky seems to be the only national leader who is operating in reality concerning Russia and Putin. I guess being in the jaws of the bear tends to bring clarity to the situation.
